CANARY WHARF WORKSHOP
On this workshop we see the Financial District that is Canary Wharf from different viewpoints. This area is a place that each time you go there something has changed, for example a new building is going up. The going around the Canary Wharf area will take about 5 hours and during that time tuition will be given on the photographic techniques required to take photographs in the dark. As many people lead busy lives with work and family the start time of the workshop in agreement with you, the client as long as the sun is down and the night is with us.
The equipment needed: To take full advantage of the subject matter a DSLR or similar, a lens, preferably a wide angle (i.e 24-105mm and/or 17-40mm on a full frame camera, 18-55mm and/or 10-22mm on a crop sensor camera), 9-18mm and or 12-32mm for Four Thirds cameras. You will also need a camera shutter remote either wired or wireless/infrared, a sturdy tripod with a height without the column raised of about 140 cms and at least 2 or 3 fully charged batteries. Any other lenses/equipment you bring is entirely your choice, but please remember you have to carry them. You will need warm clothing, appropriate footwear, and a drink either hot or cold.
In order that you have the attention you deserve, and for social distancing the maximum persons in the group is two, excluding the tutor.
The photography workshop is available Monday, Wednesday and Friday nights during September through to mid-April.
The cost of The Canary Wharf Workshop is £75 per person.
